Naples, Dec. 20 (LaPresse) – The ruling in the Open Arms trial, in which deputy prime minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini is a defendant, will ‘in no way, in the most absolute way’ affect the path taken by the government. This was said by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, speaking on the sidelines of the provincial committee for public order and safety in Caivano (Naples). ‘I don't know what the sentence will be’, Piantedosi added, ‘but it will not affect it in any way’.
