Naples, 17 December (LaPresse) – General Igor Kirillov, commander of the nuclear, chemical and biological defence troops of the Russian Armed Forces, was killed in an explosion in Moscow. This was reported by the Tass news agency. The cause of the explosion, which took place on Ryazansky Avenue in the southeastern district of the capital, was an explosive device placed in a scooter, the investigation committee reported. Kirillov was 54 years old and had headed the nuclear, chemical and biological defence troops of the Russian Armed Forces since April 2017.
