Washington (United States), Dec 24 (LaPresse) – US President Joe Biden will decide on the acquisition of US Steel by Japan's Nippon Steel. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, known as Cfius, failed to reach a consensus on the possible national security risks posed by the nearly $15 billion deal for the purchase, leaving the decision to President Biden, who said he was against the transaction.
