Nur Shams (LaPresse/AP) – At least eight people were killed during Israeli military operations in and around the city of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank last night, according to Gaza's Ministry of Health. Three of the victims died as a result of airstrikes. The Israeli army stated that it opened fire after militants attacked soldiers and acknowledged that some uninvolved civilians were injured during the raid.
