Rome, 21 December (LaPresse) – Members of Germany's Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the country's oldest Muslim community, will take part in a public commemoration ceremony this evening in Magdeburg for the victims of yesterday's attack. Bild reports that Imams Sheraz Rana and Jawad Ahmad will recite a prayer for peace and social cohesion with members of the community. ‘We would like to show our solidarity with the victims, their families and the entire city of Magdeburg,’ explained Mohammad Dawood Majoka, spokesperson for the community, ‘As Muslims, we condemn all forms of violence and terrorism and strive for peaceful coexistence.
