This has been confirmed by South Korea's intelligence agency, according to media reports. "Through real-time information sharing with the intelligence organization of a friendly nation, we have confirmed the capture of a wounded North Korean soldier and plan to thoroughly monitor subsequent developments," stated the National Intelligence Service in a brief communication. The confirmation follows the announcement by Ukrainian news agency Militarnyi, which reported that Ukrainian forces captured the soldier during operations in the Kursk region, without specifying when it occurred.
