Rome, 18 December (LaPresse) – ‘On the budget law to Senator Renzi I say that, not only this time, we have tried to do our best to present it on time, as soon as possible precisely to give Parliament space. I asked for as much time as possible, clearly we all know we have constraints that are also European. I know that the confidence in the House has been placed in agreement with the oppositions in order to respect the timing, but I want to say that if there was an agreement on timing without the vote of confidence I would be more than willing. I would much prefer it, I don't like there to be a vote of confidence so I would be happy if we agreed to do it without it'. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in her reply in the Senate on the communications ahead of the European Council tomorrow and Friday.
