Rome, Dec. 23 (LaPresse) – ‘After three days in the dark for so many hours, when you see a ray of sunshine again, it doesn't seem real’. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, on her arrival in Piazza Pia in Rome for the inauguration of the construction site completed for the Jubilee, speaking with the Holy See's secretary of state Cardinal Pietro Parolin and the capital's mayor, Roberto Gualtieri. The Prime Minister, who returned yesterday from her mission in Finland, added: ‘It is not easy to live there. It has never happened to me. You wake up in the morning, go out and it's dark. At lunchtime it's dark, in the evening it's dark'. ‘The other time of year? It's always sunny, you don't sleep any more…' jokes Meloni, concluding: ’Let's say it's not the most hospitable climate, but it's certainly a fascinating experience.
