Rome, Dec. 21 (LaPresse) – Sofia Goggia conquered the third step of the podium in the Super-G of St. Moritz, race valid for the Alpine Ski World Cup, The Italian skier was preceded by 33 hundredths by the Austrian Cornelia Huetter (1'15"18), first ahead of the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami (+0.18). Behind the athlete from Bergamo were three Italian women, with Elena Curtoni ahead of Federica Brignone and Laura Pirovano. On her official return to the World Cup, five years after her retirement, the American Lindsay Vonn finished in 14th place with ten athletes still to go.
