Paris (France), Dec. 19 (LaPresse/AP) – Paul Pogba's brother has been sentenced by a Paris court to three years in prison, two of which are suspended, for attempted extortion and kidnapping against the French footballer. Mathias Pogba, who has already served time in jail, will serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest with electronic monitoring. His lawyer stated that they will appeal the verdict. The other five defendants have been charged with extortion, kidnapping, and criminal conspiracy. Among them is Roushdane K., suspected of masterminding the extortion attempt, who was sentenced to eight years in prison.
