Turin, Dec. 23 (LaPresse) – Alessandro Nesta is no longer the coach of Monza. The red-and-white club announced the decision in a statement on its official website. The final blow for the coach was last night’s home defeat against Juventus (2-1).
"AC Monza announces that Alessandro Nesta has been relieved of his duties as First Team Head Coach," the club stated, adding that it "thanks the coach for his efforts so far and wishes him the best for the future."
Nesta leaves Monza in last place in the standings, with 10 points collected in 17 matches.
