Naples, Dec. 26 (LaPresse) – Lamar Jackson, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, is now the quarterback with the most rushing yards in NFL history. Ravens' No. 8 surpassed the previous record held by Mike Vick, reaching a record 6,110 yards with a 6-yard run in the third quarter of the 31-2 Christmas Day win over the Houston Texans.
With this victory, the Ravens secured the top spot in the AFC North division, helped by the Pittsburgh Steelers' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the second NFL game on Christmas Day.
"I'm happy; it's a record that's been around for a long time. Michael Vick is one of my favorite players. It's just amazing," Lamar Jackson said after the game.
