Turin, Dec. 26 (LaPresse) – Spezia’s run slows down in Serie B as they miss the chance to catch second-place Pisa, drawing 1-1 at home against Mantova in the 19th round of Serie B.

The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute with Debenedetti but were reduced to ten men shortly after, with Brignani sent off in the 30th minute. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Spezia managed to snatch a last-minute equalizer with Falcinelli scoring in the 93rd minute during stoppage time.

Cremonese secured a crucial playoff clash, winning 1-0 against Cesena with a goal by Vandeputte. At the bottom of the table, Frosinone achieved a significant win in their battle for survival, defeating a struggling Salernitana 2-0. The Ciociari capitalized on Ghiglione's red card in first-half stoppage time to seal the victory with second-half goals from Kvernadze and Ambrosino.

The Calabria derby between Cosenza and Catanzaro was full of drama. The home side was reduced to ten players early on after Caporale was sent off in the 21st minute. In the second half, Pompetti gave the visitors the lead in the 35th minute, but Ciervo equalized with a penalty in the 116th minute, after a lengthy stoppage time that included a VAR-overturned goal for Kouan due to a handball.

Other results included a thrilling 3-3 draw between Brescia and Modena, while Cittadella and Reggiana claimed victories over Sudtirol and Juve Stabia, respectively.
