Milan, May 28 (LaPresse) – “You are approaching your high school graduation exams. An important milestone, a turning point, one that has always been met with some trepidation, but also with hope and confidence: a step that will play a significant role in setting you on the path to your future.” So wrote the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in a letter addressed to high school seniors that will be published tomorrow in ‘7’, the weekly supplement of ‘Corriere della Sera’, a preview of which the Via Solferino-based daily is publishing today. “This year, as you well know, we are celebrating the 80th anniversary of our Republic. We could, in a way, compare the referendum of June 2, 1946, with the choice of a republic, to a high school graduation exam for our Italy,” added Mattarella.
